Heartland Season 18 Release Date & Trailer – Everything We Know!

I believe it would be so much better if Amy would at least talk to her daughter about her dad. It feels like Ty has been forgotten, like he’s erased from their lives. Lindy deserves to hear stories about her father, how much he loved her, and the wonderful memories they shared. That’s part of life, and it’s unfair to deny Lindy that connection to her dad. It’s one of the most frustrating things about the show for me. I love Heartland, but when Amy doesn’t share Ty’s memory with Lindy, it feels wrong.

There’s no harm in reminding Lindy that she had a dad who loved her deeply and cared for her. Why shouldn’t she be allowed to know that? They talk about so many other things—stones, memories, and moments—but not once did they say, “This was your dad’s.” Why not? She’s allowed to see her Uncle’s Stone, but not her dad’s? That’s what bothers me. Ty was such a beloved character, and it’s heartbreaking that the show seems to be trying to move past him without allowing us to truly remember him.

As for Amy’s interactions with Nathan, there’s just no chemistry there. Why do the writers keep pushing Amy into relationships with different men? The magic of Heartland was always the chemistry between Amy and Ty. Now that Ty is gone, Amy should stay the strong, single mom she’s proven to be. The only man who could ever make sense for her is Ty, and while bringing him back would be incredibly difficult, it’s the only way the story could truly feel right again.

Let’s be honest: Amber’s performance has changed since Graham left the show. While I still love her, you can see the loss of Ty reflected in her acting. Ty was the heart of Heartland, and without him, it just doesn’t feel the same.
