Heartland has enjoyed an impressive run, establishing itself as the top family show on TV since its debut. As the younger cast members grow, it’s understandable that they needed to move on to avoid being typecast. The one character Heartland can’t afford to lose is Jack—he’s the linchpin that keeps everything together.
I certainly miss Georgie and Mallory and would love to see them return, along with Quinn and Jake, to be a part of Heartland’s evolution. Watching their families grow and contribute to the show’s legacy would be wonderful.

It’s a pity that spiritual elements aren’t woven into the story, as a focus on faith could have added even more depth to the narrative, reflecting the idea that life is richer with a spiritual center.
